Poor posture can affect our health and well-being and can lead to chronic pain. There are ways to improve posture. TIPS TO IMPROVE POSTURE While standing, keep your head high, shoulders back and stomach tucked in. When sitting, keep legs perpendicular to the floor, with your rear end touching the back of the chair. Distribute weight evenly over both hips and keep feet flat on the floor. When sitting at a desk or table, arms and elbows should rest on the surface taking the strain off the shoulders. It is important to remember to get up at least every half hour.
