The COVID-19 pandemic has called for change in almost all businesses worldwide, including the great OMA Comp. We have instituted COVID-19 recommended precautions and guidelines to help ensure our office, employees, and visitors are safe. We have developed an online COVID-19 check in form, require temperature check upon entry, mask requirement when traveling through the office, and mandatory daily sanitation. These extra steps are our way to do our part to help reduce illness during the pandemic. If your business is in need of posting protocols properly on your website or social media, graphics or printed materials, or a Hi-Tech TV display, contact OMA Comp at 248-616-3057.

Our team has worked through this pandemic, utilizing proper PPE and following the required guidelines to maintain a safe environment for our employees and clients. We are being proactive and making continuous adjustments to our preparedness and response plans. We have heightened our cleaning and disinfecting standards to adhere to CDC guidelines. Our top priority is the health and safety of our employee’s and our clients.
We ask our clients to be equally responsible and to alert our team of any of the following:
- Fever or above normal temperature
- Flu-like symptoms: dry cough, runny nose, loss of sense of smell or taste, sore throat
- Notifying us before our visit if you have been outside of the U.S. or in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19

Correct Posture Month
Due to COVID-19, many of us suddenly switched our work environment from office to home creating all kinds of unusual home set-ups that can lead to poor posture. Poor posture can affect our health and well-being and can lead to chronic pain. There are ways to improve posture.
TIPS TO IMPROVE POSTURE
While standing, keep your head high, shoulders back and stomach tucked in.
When sitting, keep legs perpendicular to the floor, with your rear end touching the back of the chair. Distribute weight evenly over both hips and keep feet flat on the floor. When sitting at a desk or table, arms and elbows should rest on the surface taking the strain off the shoulders.
It is important to remember to get up at least every half hour. This will also help avoid computer eye strain. We hope these tips will help you. Take care of yourself while staying safe at home.

- Frequent and thorough hand washing or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers containing at least 60% alcohol
- Appropriately cleaning your equipment upon our arrival; we will be wearing gloves for safety measures

- We are equipped with a laser thermometer which can measure temperature up to 20 feet away
If you or an employee at your business or home are sick or have known contact with a COVID-19 patient, please adhere to and understand that we will need to reschedule our technician’s on-site visit after the two week quarantine is over for every member in the facility to secure the health and well-being of our team. If at all possible, we will complete work remotely.
